It is a happy moment  for Italy after being winners for 2020 Euros after a tense and tough game against England at Wembley. Facing England at Wembley was not enough: Italy connected an early goal to make their task even more difficult. For with this a normal team would have lost the game. But the Azzuri never lost focus and courage and eventually they equalized through Bonucci. The Italy’s win was just a reward.

England started with a good show, Luke Shaw scoring two minutes after the game kick off at Wembley. It was before Bonucci equalised everything in the second half  (67′).This goal made Bonucci the oldest player to score in this tournament. The game was more tougher Italy dominating the bigger part of the second half. It further went to extra time and penalty shoot outs. This shoot outs are the second in the Euro finals after the one in the year 1976 finals.

The goal keepers made history both saving two penalties. Gianluigi Donnarumma denied Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho penalty goals and Rashford hit the post edge, this made Italy claim their second Euro.

Despite of Portugal quiting Euros early Christiano Ronaldo was the tournament top scorer with five goals scored in four games. Italy goal keeper Donnarumma was awarded as the best player of the tournament and Pedri was awarded as the youngest player of the tournament.

Congratulations Italy. Euro taken to Rome.
