TOPIC: LOVING GOD
When you love God, you will serve him with passion. And you will do everything to please him.
In order to please God, the fear of the Lord must be in you. When you fear the Lord; God will shew to you his knowledge and wisdom [Proverb 1:7], the knowledge which surpasses all other knowledge.
Why do we need to love God
- He loved us first [1 John4:19]
- He doesn’t judge, reject or condemn us [John 3:17- 18]
- He forgives us [1 John 1:9]
- He is our Father and he has made us his children [Galatians 4:6 – 7]
- He hears and answers our prayers [1 John 5:14 – 15]
- He cares about and provides for us [Mathew 6:31 – 33]
