Bayern Munich beat Leverkusen 2-0 pushing them close to winning the Bundesliga title this season.
BAYERN Munich now need a single win to be officially crowned German Bundesliga champions this season.
The defending champions handed Bayer Leverkusen a 2-0 defeat in a match that scared them at the Allianz Arena Tuesday night.
Ex-Stoke City forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting opened the score shit for Bayern in the seventh minute after parting ways with midfielder Thomas Muller.
Joshua Kimmich utterly sunk their visitors by scoring second goal in the 13th minute hence putting leverkusen on the hard side of reclaiming a win.
Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga table with 71 points with a 10-point gap remaining between them and number two RB Leipzig who were beaten 2-1 by FC Koln in an away match.
Choupo-Moting has now scored in a total of three consecutive Bundesliga matches for the second time in his career. Having done so for the first time in March 2014 while playing for Mainz .
Bayern will be lifting the Bundesliga title this season on April 24 if they can win against Mainz in an away match. This trophy will be the seventh for coach Hansi Flick to grab Bayern before he officially bade goodbye to the squad at the end of the season.
