Manchester city was among the six teams from the English Premier League that joined the European Super league together with Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal,, Manchester united and Tottenham Hotspurs. Since then fans have pushing their teams to withdraw from the Super cup. Manchester city is the first team to withdraw from the league through an official statement received from the team. On the other hand Chelsea fans have showed their disappointment for the team joining the European Super league. Fans were crowded out of Stamford Bridge protesting. This lend to a delay of fifteen minutes in the Chelsea game against Brighton. Chelsea fans stopped the bus carrying Chelsea players to the stadium. Though Chelsea is the next team expected to confirm the withdrawal from the Super cup.
